Reservoir Characterization – Challenges from the Asia-Pacific Region-cases from SE Asia / Japan / Australia

The SPWLA 2008 Joint SE Asia / Japan / Australia Petrophysical Conference will be for technology presentation and open discussion on the Characterization of Reservoirs encountered in the region, extending from Japan to Australia. We will investigate challenges and local field practices from this region as they relate to petrophysics either at exploration, appraisal and or development stage. The final agenda will vary with submissions from participants but will be bracketed according to the sub-themes received.
WHO WILL BE THERE: Persons working in petrophysics, geology and reservoir engineering, wireline logging / LWD service company specialists.
DISCUSSION GROUPS: Small Panel discussion will address special topics proposed by participants and the Steering Committee, then report back in plenary session.
COMMERCIALISM: In keeping with conference objectives, the SPWLA mission and practice in other Topical Conferences, commercialism in speaker presentations is not permitted. Company logos shall be limited to the title slide and only used to indicate affiliations of the presenter and others involved in the work. Space will be provided for exhibits or posters.
