It related with next agenda, "AAPG Leadership: Current Reality-Where can I help?" Mr. Mlynek said that the current issue was about declining of AAPG student member. After finished discussion, we had dinner and enjoyed entertainment.

On the second day, our activity was held at Post Oak Lodge. After had breakfast, we began agenda of 2nd day SCLS II with introduction by Mr. Scott W. Tinker (President of AAPG). Mr. Tinker said that energy became one of big issue. Therefore, AAPG had an important role in this issue. Mr. Tinker also added that AAPG is basically an organization for Science. Mr. Richard Fritz (Executive Director of AAPG Foundation) had a same opinion with Mr. Tinker that AAPG is a science organization. Next session, Mr. Mlynek explained about student chapter beginning. He told about Visiting Geoscientist program (VGP), Distinguished Lecture (DL) and also Membership Dues. After that, we moved to next agenda about Imperial Barrel Award. Here, students concerned about data set from company. Then, we continued to the next topic about Student Chapter Bylaws. There were some points we discussed. First, about how long president of AAPG SC is and when the election would be done. And the other thing was about account of SC (faculty sponsor).

Then, the agenda was continued by presentation from Meredith Faber and Lauren Michel (SMU SC of AAPG). They explained about SC executive committee organization system. There was something interesting from their presentation. They also brought a Box. The function is to keep all of their documents. And, I think it was a brilliant idea beside we keep the digital.

After lunch, next agenda was "Industry Panel Discussion". There were some volunteers, namely Mr. Chuck Caughey, Mr. Peter Llyod, Mr. John Kaldi, Mr. Lee T. Billingsley, Mr. Donald D. Clarke. It was a great moment because we could meet with people who were expert in petroleum industry. They shared about their experience to students. The most important when we joined AAPG was to practice our soft skill management. We got much knowledge from this discussion.

At the end of SCLS, Mr. Mlynek said there was a big hope to students to keep their contribution in AAPG. This is what to expect at Leadership Days.
