AAPG UGM SC, who was nominated as AAPG Most Outstanding International Student Chapter, has hosted a distinguished lecture in theme Tectonics, Structures, and Implication for Petroleum Systems: Cases from Indonesia with speaker Mr. Awang Harun (BPMigas).
Mr. Awang is famous for his brand-new and out of the box concept of geology of Indonesia. He has many publications with Indonesia Petroleum Association and Indonesia Association of Geologists.
This course is the biggest event in their chapter’s activity this year, with two hundred participants. Attending this course were students and professionals from all across Indonesia.

Moreover, UGM Student Chapter also will arrange another distinguished lecture from President of Indonesia Association of Geologists on November 12 2011, and Held National Paper Contest on December 2, 2011.
