Azimuth is reckoned with respect to north, and magnitude of dips is color coded (see lower right of figure). A dramatic change in azimuth of dip and a significant change in magnitude of dip (greater than 50 to less than 50 degrees) occurs between 5,650 and 5,750 feet. Note the hair pin curve.
