The Triassic-Jurassic boundary is magnificently exposed at the boundary between the late synrift Blomidon formation playa-lacustrine sediments and North Mountain thoeliitic basalts at Five Islands, Nova Scotia, Canada. This succession, and its Moroccan equivalent, will be amongst the sites visited in regional and international field trips as part of the Central Atlantic Conjugate Margins Conference to be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia this coming August.
