Distribution of Lightning Draw Southeast gas probabilities derived from two-component discriminant analysis of thermally desorbed C1-C12 hydrocarbon from surface soils over the Lightning Draw gas field and the water-leg of Lisbon. Ethane and nButane are the most important variables for distinguishing productive parts of Lightning Draw from the Lisbon water-leg. Samples over the Lisbon field are predicted as “productive” by the discriminant model.
