Seismic line from West Cameron:

On the left is the PP (all P-wave) image, a combination of vertical geophone and hydrophone, and on the right is the PS (downgoing P-wave reflected S-wave) image recorded by the horizontal geophones. Note the disruption on the PP image due to gas. Conversely, the PS image show good resolution and continuity.
