Student Awards Listed for New Orleans

Award winners have been announced for the technical student sessions held at the annual meeting. They are:

Oral

 First place -- Freddy Corredor, Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass., for "Mesozoic-Cenozoic Structural Evolution of the Northern Eastern Cordillera Fold Belt, Colombia."

Poster

 First place -- S. Chereé Stover, University of Colorado, Boulder, Colo., for "The Effects of Salt Evolution, Structural Development and Fault Propagation on Late Mesozoic/ Cenozoic Oil Migration: A Two-Dimensional Fluid Flow Study Along a Megaregional Profile in the Northern Gulf of Mexico Basin."

The winners of other technical awards for presentations at the New Orleans meeting, including those for AAPG sessions (George Matson Award and Jules Braunstein award) and various division awards, are yet to be announced.
