International Lecture Tours Booked

This spring AAPG will sponsor three international Distinguished Lecture tours -- two in Europe and one in Latin America.

Mary Ford, with Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie, Nancy, France, will be doing a Western Europe tour March 13-24.

Her topics include:

Interaction of Folding, Sedimentation and Erosion in Three Dimensions -- A Study of the Sant Llorenc de Morunys Fault Propagation Fold, SE Pyrenees Using gOcad: Initial Results.
Significance of Growth Structures in Foreland Orogenic Systems.

Frank J. Picha, formerly with Chevron Overseas Petroleum, San Ramon, Calif., will be doing an Eastern Europe tour.
