Leadership Conference

The AAPG European Region was well represented at the 27th Annual AAPG Leadership Conference, held in Keystone, Colorado, August 17-19, 2007. After initial reports from key AAPG leaders, the conference concentrated on a variety of important break-out session topics. These included initial discussions of:
- Workforce – exploring for future geoscientists,
- Membership – How to reach non-members, and
- Global Opportunities – reaching strategic goals.
These were followed by sessions discussing:
- Workforce – providing research funding,
- Membership – AAPG Digital Programs, and
- Petroleum Resources – peaked or not peaked.
Leadership Conference is a proven invaluable annual program that allows the leadership of the organization, at all levels, to meet and discuss key issues facing the organization and the industry.
