Associate Editor: This position is to train the next editor who will take over from Carol Lucas within the next two years. Although no date has been specified, Carol does not plan to be in this position after June 1 of 2008 as it is likely she will be returning to the U.S. at that time.
You would need to have an excellent command of the English language, and have some understanding of computers. It entails editing, layout and design, plus working with graphics, both vector and bitmap. The program we use is InDesign by Adobe. This program is relatively easy to use and once you understand desktop publishing attributes, you should not have many problems working with it.
Reporters: This should not really take much of your time. I am looking for individuals who will contact certain groups and societies quarterly to gather their information for the next publication. I will try to put you together with the groups and societies in your area. Students are welcome and encouraged to apply for this position.
