The ILP-Task Force on Sedimentary Basin, to be held in Québec on September 18-22 on basins and margin of the Polar Realm, including European-Russian Arctic. Technical program is finalized, but there is still possibility for late registrants to join.
This workshop of oral and poster presentations and field trips will address the processes and resources of sedimentary basins. It anticipates geoscience components of the International Polar Year and provides an opportunity for diverse discussions related to the formation and destruction of sedimentary basins as exemplified by the tectonic elements of the current polar margins.
