We present a District Code Map of the lower 48 used in the AAPG Committee on Statistics of Drilling (CSD) from 1950 through 1989, to report exploratory well drilling. Many company drilling databases are sorted using these district groupings. The map is out-of-print, but is now available as a digital image file and/or as a GIS map in ArcMap format (ESRI ArcMap .mxd format with all accompanying files, including .shp files, all as a single zip file): CSD_Lower48_GIS.zip.
