Paleokarstic Reservoirs: misconceptions and paradoxes
One-size-fits-all certainly does not apply to paleokarstic reservoirs, and a variety of models and strategies are needed to develop them as hydrocarbon reservoirs. This presentation will review the different settings in which they can develop and their resulting reservoir types, and examine the paradox of why some commonly developed forms found in modern carbonate systems are rarely found in the stratigraphic record.
