Paul Wright

Paul is principal consultant carbonate specialist at BG Group in the UK. He was worked mainly on South Atlantic, central Asian, North African and Indian carbonate reservoirs. During his former academic career Paul published over 120 research papers, edited several books and co-authored Carbonate Sedimentology with Maurice Tucker. His research specialities include palaeokarsts, paleosols and non-marine carbonates. His research has involved extensive fieldwork in Spain, Portugal and Oman, and the supervision of 20 doctoral students. Paul has also served on the editorial boards of several international journals. He holds a Ph.D. and D.Sc. from the University of Wales.
