Research Interests
Research activities include land andmarine seismic methods, seismic modeling, multi-component seismic techniques, seismic anisotropy, interpretation of gravity and magnetic data, and integrated geophysical and geological research into the structure and hydrocarbon potential of foreland fold and thrust belts. Foundingmember and Director of the Fold-fault Research Project (FRP) and a foundingmember and an Associate Director of the Consortiumfor Research in ElasticWave Exploration Seismology (CREWES). Both FRP and CREWES are industry consortia and government-funded geoscience research projects. Arecent research focus is onmonitoring and verification of geological storage of CO2.
