Eric Eslinger maintains his own consulting service, eGAMLS Inc., in Glenmont, NY, and is also a Professor of Geology at The College of Saint Rose (Albany, NY). He has a B.S in Geology from West Virginia University, and a Ph.D. in Geology from Case Western Reserve University.
Eric currently specializes in siliciclastic reservoir quality and mineralogy-based petrophysics (conventional and unconventional). A particular focus is the integration of core data with well logs, and the “prediction” of parameters of interest in non-cored wells and old wells.
He is a key developer of a software “toolkit” that focuses on the above issues. Eric's previous industrial experience includes several years with Cities Service/Occidental (research and operations).
He is a member of AAPG, SEPM, SPWLA, SPE, and the Clay Minerals Society.
