Jessica Moore earned both her B.S. and M.S. in geology from the University of Utah, specializing in shallow marine lacustrine stratigraphy. She started her career with PSI, Inc., specializing in Petroleum Geochemistry prior to hiring on with Chevron’s Energy Technology Company, first in San Ramon, CA, then Houston, TX, working as a Shallow Marine and Fluvial Clastic Stratigraphy Specialist. She is a now located with Chevron in Bakersfield, CA working as a Lead Geologist for a Major Capitol Project. Jessica is Past-President of the Association for Women Geoscientists (AWG), former member of the American Geosciences Institute’s (AGI) Executive Committee, and past Chair of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists’ Professional Women in Earth Sciences (PROWESS) Committee. Jessica has co-lead and contributed to numerous short-courses, technical presentations, summits, and Congressional visits and panels addressing issues associated with STEM as well as women in the energy industry workforce.
