Mohammed Ahmed Al Duhailan is a Petroleum Geoscientist at Saudi Aramco. He was awarded his PhD in Petroleum Geology in 2014 from Colorado School of Mines, USA. Mohammed has been with Saudi Aramco since 2001. His work roles have been spent exclusively in the area of oil and gas exploration, generating play concepts and prospects, and following up with proposals to drill wells for exploration. Also, He has been and is currently focusing on promoting the unconventional resource play concept. Mohammed’s recent research has been focused on theorizing petroleum-expulsion fracturing in organic-rich shales. His research area of interest is aimed at developing a comprehensive understanding of unconventional petroleum resources through data integration to be able to investigate the natural factors controlling their existence in the subsurface.
