Martin Oviedo is a Regional Exploration Geologist with Karoon Australian Company in Lima, Peru. He has 6 years of experience in geosciences and the petroleum industry. He has worked on several sedimentary basins of Peru as a project leader at the Geological Survey of Peru, is currently working as an exploration geologist in the Marañon and Tumbes basins. Current interests include South America regional studies, stratigraphy, depositional systems, seismic sequence stratigraphy and tectonics. Martin is an active member of AAPG, AAPG Young Professionals Peru and SPWLA.
