Olivia Osicki is a geoscientist working in the Schlumberger Multiclient group as part of the Geology, Interpretation and Inversion team, specializing in African-based projects. Primarily focusing on seismic interpretation, Olivia has worked on projects bringing together regional geology, basin analysis, and petroleum systems modeling in Angola, Kenya and Somalia to inform understanding of prospectivity to maximize new survey potential. Olivia works closely with the depth imaging and reprocessing teams providing a geological perspective to ensure maximum data quality, and is the geological advisor on the acquisition, processing and interpretation of a new seismic survey that has just been completed offshore Kenya. As part of her work, Olivia travels regularly, most recently to Nairobi to train members of the Ministry of Energy. Over the last year, she has also visited Ghana, Canada, Egypt, Turkey and Malta. Olivia has also spent time researching oceanic geochemistry at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. She graduated from the University of Cambridge with an MSci in Geology.
