Fredy García is an Exploration Petrophysicist for Ecopetrol S.A - Colombia and has been involved in formation evaluation for 10 years including working with Gran Tierra Energy, Vetra Exploracion, Schlumberger, Penenco, National Oil Well and Petrobras. His responsibilites included Reservoir engineering, Solids Control engineering, Production Engineer, and Core Completions Field Engineer. Fredy has a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad de América-Colombia. Concurrent with his current employment, he is working on his MSc degree in Geology at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He was part of the Latin America 1st place team for the AAPG Imperial Barrel Award.
