Sochi’s goal is to facilitate strategic development of oil and gas assets through robust geoscientific analysis and by adopting a holistic approach to decision making that considers all associated technical and business risks.
He is a reservoir geologist for Total Exploration and Production with more than ten years professional experience mostly spent in geoscience practice. Previous work experiences in banking and information technology provided him with transverse skills as well as breadth and versatility that continue to be pivotal to his practice as a 21st century earth scientist. Having in the past performed a one year national service as a teacher, Sochi continuously relishes opportunities for mentoring and knowledge transfer and has been involved in mentoring students and young professionals across several international regions including North & South America, Europe, India, Malaysia and Russia.
