Ewa Ginał-Cumblidge is a geologist with over 15 years’ experience in oil and gas industry. She holds an MSc in Geology from the University of Warsaw, Poland. Ewa began her career in 1998 at the Department of Geology and Geological Concessions of the Polish Ministry of the Environment. During her 7 years in the government she was focused on liaising with foreign companies involved in petroleum and mineral exploration in Poland. This included the coordination and promotion of licensing rounds, involvement in devising licensing strategies and drafting related legislation as well as representing the country at international conferences and meetings, including AAPG, APPEX and AIPN. In 2005 Ewa moved to the UK where she spent 5 ½ years in client management and business development roles with Fugro Robertson Limited, one of the world’s leading geological consultancies. During her time with FRL she was involved in sales and business development of their global multi-client products portfolio. Her role involved extensive travel through Europe, the Americas, Middle East, Far East, Asia and Australia. In 2011 Ewa transferred to Perth to join a newly formed International Marketing Team of Fugro Multi Client Services where she was responsible for sales and marketing of the Company’s global dataset to clients in Asia Pacific. Ewa was recently Business Development Manager for the Geological Products and Services Group in TGS’ Perth office and responsible for sales of existing products and development of new studies in Asia Pacific. She is now an Independent Consultant.
