Changes/Cancellations/Refund Policy
Changes can be made by following the instructions on your confirmation or contacting the AAPG Registration Center/Exgenex by email (aapgregistration@exgenex.com), fax, telephone or mail . Amendments to your registration or events are gladly accepted until 20 September, 2008.
Cancellations can be made by following the instructions on your confirmation or contacting the AAPG Registration Center/Exgenex by email (aapgregistration@exgenex.com), fax, telephone or mail by 20 September. Cancellations received on or before 20 September will receive a full refund less a $50 processing fee. Refunds will not be issued after 20 September or for “no-shows;” however, substitutions are always allowed.
Cancellation of Under-Subscribed Events
Please register early to help avoid cancellation of events.We realize the inconvenience and expense you may incur due to cancellation and will make every effort not to cancel any events held in conjunction with the conference but at times it does become necessary to cancel events.We cannot accept responsibility for costs associated with any cancellations of under-subscribed events, i.e. airline tickets, hotel deposits, etc. Refund of the event fees will be issued if an event is cancelled.
Sold Out Events
If an event is sold out, it will be noted on the website. If you register online and wish to be placed on the wait list, please mark the event. If your registration is received by mail or fax, you will automatically be placed on the wait list.
VAT Information
All registration and event fees are subject to a 14% Value Added Tax (VAT) levied by the Government of South Africa. If you are a citizen of or work for a company registered in South Africa, you must provide your SARS identification number at the time of payment for registration and event fees to receive a valid VAT invoice. If you are not a citizen or your company is not registered in South Africa, there are very limited opportunities for VAT recovery. AAPG does not provide tax advice; if you need more detailed information on VAT, please consult a qualified VAT tax professional.
