Plenary Session: African Energy, Global Impact

The plenary session will open the Cape Town International Conference and Exhibition with four special technical presentations on “African Energy, Global Impact.” The presentations will take us from the megatectonic scale to regional structure to play, prospect, trap and compartment. The success of West Africa’s major producing provinces will be contrasted with the challenges of exploration in East and Central Africa. These four presentations will provide both the tone and context for the technical sessions that follow on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
