Geological and Social Day Trips
The day excursions in and around Cape Town and its hinterland provide a wonderful opportunity to view the scenic beauty of South Africa’s coastal and wineland regions against the background of its geological history.
Highlights on these trips include viewing Table Mountain, the icon of South Africa’s Mother City, Robben Island, the famous Cape of Good Hope, the deserted white beaches and small fishing villages of the west coast and a visit to Hermanus, the whale-watching capital of the world where Humpback and Southern Right whales pay their annual pilgrimage. This trip is a must if you want to understand how nature provided the beauty and uniqueness of the fairest Cape in all the world at the southern tip of Africa.
