Charles Kerans, accepts the Wallace E. Pratt Memorial Award for the best paper published in the 2003 AAPG Bulletin. Kerans and Hongliu Zeng wrote "Seismic Frequency Control on Carbonate Seismic Stratigraphy: A Cast Study of the Kingdom Abo Sequence, West Texas" (v. 87, no. 2, pages 273-293).
