Kenneth W. Glennie, happily receives the Sidney Powers Memorial Award, AAPG's highest honor, from Pat Gratton, AAPG 2004-05 president.

Glennie is an acknowledged expert in petroleum geology. In his 33 years with Shell he worked globally as a pioneering explorationist and as the technical mentor of aspiring young professionals. Since retirement Ken has dedicated his time to geological research and education in a manner best described as inspirational.
