Honors an individual for:

"outstanding leadership demonstrated and extraordinary service given to the petroleum geosciences and the Association." AAPG’s second highest honor. MORE DETAILS

Restrictions:

Must be an Active (includes Honorary, Emeritus and/or Life) member of the Association, must be living at time of selection, and willing to be present to receive the award. One award per year. This award and the Sidney Powers Memorial Award are mutually exclusive. Honorary Membership preferred, but not required; past-presidency of AAPG not required. Recipients of this award are not eligible to receive the Sidney Powers Memorial Award.
