Constitution and Bylaws Committee
The Constitution and Bylaws Committee is tasked with preparing amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws of the AAPG for submission to the HoD at the annual meeting each year. Proposals for those amendments are usually forwarded from the Executive Committee, the leadership of the HoD, or as resolutions from the floor of the preceding HoD annual meeting. Proposals can also be initiated by the Constitution and Bylaws Committee. At this early date, no pressing amendment proposals have been forwarded to the committee for review. Should any HoD member have a proposed amendment they would like to forward, I would be glad to consider it for discussion within our committee.
This year the following members have graciously volunteered to serve on the committee: David Entzminger (Vice Chair), John Brooks, John Hogg, John Jordan, Terry O’Hare, and Margaret Anne Rogers. I expect to have many interesting discussions with them this year about the AAPG Constitution and our Bylaws.
