Resolutions Committee
Greetings to all.
The Resolutions Committee is pleased to announce the affiliation of three societies. They are: Indian Association of Petroleum Geoscientists (IAPG), Geological Society of Romania (SGR) and Israel Geological Society (IGS). The EC approved the societies listed above and you, the HoD, voted final approval. Thank you to all involved.
Prior to the next convention, the Resolutions Committee will look at the HoD attendance numbers for Affiliated Societies and Regions. It appears there are a few regions with very poor delegate participation. Those regions and societies will be contacted to ensure their representatives attend the 2013 ACE in Pittsburgh, PA.
