Honors and Awards Committee
The HoD Honors and Awards Committee has 10 members from each of the Regions and Sections of AAPG. This committee has the honor of taking nominations for awards to recognize outstanding service to the House of Delegates. The committee is currently taking nominations and preparing a list of candidates to provide to the Chair of the House of Delegates for consideration by October 31. Please send nominations to Laura Zahm. The awards to be considered are Honorary Member of the House, Distinguished Member of the House, and House Long Service Awards. The Honors and Awards Committee consists of:

- Gulf Coast: Laura C. Zahm (Chair)
- Gulf Coast: Bonnie R. Weise
- Mid-Continent: Terry L. Hollrah
- Pacific: Jon Kuespert
- Rocky Mountain: Tom C. Anderson
- Southwest: H. Lee Harvard
As a committee we are as diverse as the global HoD delegates. Each member has served in several different leadership positions and brings a long history in the petroleum industry. Each committee member is appointed by the Chair of the House, Jeff Lund, and we thank him for the recognition and hope to put forth a slate of worthy nominations.
