AC to Review Strategic Plan
In addition to our duties to present candidates for honors and awards and candidates for AAPG office to the Executive Committee, the Advisory Council is concluding a revision of the AAPG Strategic Plan that was initiated by the AC last year. A sub-committee is in the process of proofing the final draft. When the changes have been approved by the full AC, it will likely be posted on the AAPG website for a short period of time to elicit comments from the AAPG membership. The final approval is the purview of the Executive Committee.
The AAPG Strategic Plan is intended to be a living document. To further that end, the AC met prior to its Honors and Awards meeting at Leadership Days to make sure the underlying assumptions were valid and the conclusions were still relevant to the Association.
