Ad Hoc Action Evaluation Committee
Chair Dave Hawk appointed an ad hoc committee consisting of three past chairs of the HoD, Larry Jones, George Bole and Ed Heath. The purpose for this committee was to establish an experienced resource pool to provide support and advice to the chair when called upon, and be available for consultation with HoD committee chairs and members.
The ad hoc committee was invited to attend the mid-year HoD meeting in Boise, Idaho. The meeting was well organized with all committee chairs and/or co-chairs in attendance. Proceedings were conducted under “Hawk’s rules” and went very well with committee chair reports being followed by open and informative discussions. The many items being considered by the House are being addressed which will lead to an organized and productive annual meeting in Houston. The Chair has appointed, as committee chairs, many of the dedicated members of AAPG who make things happen.
