Mexico, Central America, South America and Caribbean Delegates
Currently, the AAPG Bylaws list the Latin American Regions name as the Mexico, Central America and South America Region. As you might expect, that cumbersome name gave way to the more commonly used Latin American Region, which is the name shown in the Region’s Bylaws. Therefore, as a matter of general housekeeping, we should change the name of the region in the AAPG Bylaws to be consistent with what is listed in the Region Bylaws.
Before we officially change the name of the Region, we would like to hear what members of the Region would like to see it called. What is your preference?
- Latin American Region (consistent with the current Region’s Bylaws)
- Central and South American Region
- Caribbean – Latin American Region
- Everything south of North America Region
- Other
