Nominations and Elections

The first part of the committee report consisted of the slate of candidates and an overview of the selection process, which appeared in January 2005 Delegate's Voice. The election was held at the House meeting in Calgary. Elected by paper ballot by members of the House in attendance were Larry Jones (Gulf Coast Section) as Chair-Elect and Bob Shoup (Gulf Coast Section) as Secretary-Editor.
I would like to thank all the preliminary and final candidates for their willingness to allow their names to be put on the slate, and more importantly for making the commitment to serve, if elected. In these busy times, it is especially difficult to find people willing and able to make the commitment.
Finally, I would like to thanks the members of the Nominations and Elections Committee for all their help in putting together an outstanding slate for the House officers.
