Rules and Procedures Committee

This year appears to be a light year for the Rules and Procedures Committee!

The committee consists of the following members:

  • Deborah K. Sacrey, Chairman -- Gulf Coast Section
  • Jeff Lund -- Gulf Coast Section
  • Bob Shoup -- Gulf Coast Section
  • Ed Coalson -- Rocky Mountain Section
  • Jim Drahovzal -- Eastern Section
  • Mel Erskine -- Pacific Section
  • Barry Goldstein -- Asia-Pacific Region

There is only one item to present to the House this year (so far!), which is mainly a clean-up issue from last year's meeting in Salt Lake City.

This would be to eliminate from the Agenda the Report from the Future of Earth Scientists Committee. The Future of Earth Scientists Committee was disbanded last year, in hopes that it would become a committee under the AAPG umbrella, and would be able to bring more relevant information to the House.

This committee would welcome any suggestions from House members in order to make our Rules and Procedures more efficient!
