The Honors and Awards Committee

The HoD Honors and Awards Committee generated and solicited nominees for recognition and received a vote of approval to announce the following:

Honorary Member Of the House

Royce Carr, East Texas Geological Society, Delegate for approximately 18 years, serving on six committees and chairing one.

Distinguished Member Of the House

Donald W. Lewis, Northern California Geological Society, nine years and served on four committees, chairing two and vice chair of one.

Stu Chuber, South Texas Geological Society, nine years and served on three committees, chairing one and co-chairing another.

John Hogg, Canada International region, CSPG, 16 years, numerous committees and past Chairman of the House of Delegates

House Long Service Award

Ron Broadhead, New Mexico Geological Society, 20 years of service and one committee.

House Recognition Of Service

Presented yearly to the outgoing Chairman and Secretary/ Editor: George Eynon and Steven Goolsby, respectively.
