Advisory Council Representation
(Ad Hoc Committee)

Update note by George Eynon

The committee has examined the data from recent years regarding under- or over- representation by Section. Specifically the issue concerns representation of the Rocky Mountain and Gulf Coast sections respectively, either on the Advisory Council itself or with respect to candidates for office and nominees for honors and awards. It is the committee's finding that the data do not support the contention that there is a systematic bias in representation.

As a next step, the committee is contacting everyone who has served on the AC over the past several years to get their input on a broad range of representation issues.
