The committee members this year are:

Bob Countryman, Pacific Section;
Marty Hewitt, Canada Region;
Jim Drahovzal, Eastern Section;
Robert Johannessen, Europe Region;
Kuan Hsu, Asia/Pacific Region;
Marvin Smith, Gulf Coast Section;
Jim McGhay, Mid-Continent Section; and
Steve Shaw, Southwest Section.

The Nomination and Election Committee is doing its work as this issue is being prepared so that we will be able to publish the names of the candidates in the next issue, as well as in the AAPG Explorer.

Time Line

August 23 - compile list of possible candidates

September 16 - finalize the 4 candidates (2 per position)

September 23- give the list to the Chairman of the House of Delegates
