Visit the House Forum for Updates

The House officers and committee chairs will be posting on the House Forum more updates and additional information for the House meeting on June 3. Be sure to visit Delegate's Forum often, and discuss the issues with fellow delegates and AAPG members before the meeting.

by Marty Hewitt, Secretary/Editor

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of the Newsletter Committee (Pat Gratton, Terry Hollrah, Mark Longman and Debra Osborne), AAPG Headquarters staff in Tulsa (Larry Nation, Linda Ramsey and Donna Riggs) and my co-officers Ed Dolly and Terry Hollrah who have made my job as Secretary/Editor a real pleasure this year. In this short business year, sticking to deadlines was critical and this team did all that I asked of them in ensuring that The Delegates' Voice came to you in a clear, concise and timely fashion.

In this final issue of The DV for the 2001-2002 term, I would like you to take special notice of the minutes from the Houston meeting and also the survey that Ed Dolly has put together soliciting your feedback on The Delegates' Forum. Please take a few moments, visit the Forum at www.aapg.org and respond to the survey either by e-mailing (the survey is posted on the Forum also) your responses to Ed or mailing the survey back to him. Your responses will be tabulated by the incoming HoD officers and we will modify the Forum accordingly.

Your comments on The Delegates' Voice are also encouraged.

Thanks again for this opportunity to serve the House and best of luck to our incoming Secretary/Editor, Lee Avary.

See you in Salt Lake City!
