Nomination and Election Committee

by Jeanne Harris, Chair

The Nominations Committee is pleased and proud to announce the 2002-2003 House of Delegates officer candidates. For Chair-Elect, they are George Eynon from Calgary, Alberta and J. Michael Party from Midland, Texas. For Secretary/Editor, they are K. Lee Avary from Morgantown, West Virginia and Ron Grubbs from Dallas, Texas. These four outstanding geologists are highly qualified and highly regarded members of the HoD. They have served the AAPG and their local societies with leadership, vision and lots of hard work. The January issue of The Delegates' Voice will contain complete biographies of each candidate.

I would like to thank my committee of Sandi Barber-Vice Chair (Gulf Coast), Bob Countryman (Pacific), Paul English (Canada), Jeff Greenawalt (Eastern), Robert Johannessen (Europe), Kuan Hsu (Asia/Pacific), Jean Lemmon (Mid-Continent), John Neale (Gulf Coast) and Steve Shaw (Southwest) for their hard work in nominating such a great slate of officers.
