Call for Nominations

The HOD Honors and Awards Committee is looking for nominations from House members for the 2002 Awards to be presented in Houston at the next AAPG Annual Meeting. With the meeting scheduled for early March 2002, deadline for the nominations from members of the House will be Friday October 14, 2001. The Awards that will be presented include: Honorary Member of the House; House of Delegates Distinguished Service Award; House of Delegates Long Service Award; and the House Certificate of Merit (Awarded to the outgoing Chairman).

Please send nominations for any of these awards to John Hogg, Chairman, along with a one-page nomination summary by mail, fax or e-mail. Also, please feel free to contact me if you have any question about the individual awards
