The Corporate Advisory Board of AAPG advises the AAPG leadership on matters of strategy and direction when it comes to AAPG's activities and plans for the future. It is comprised of senior members of industry representing AAPG's membership via major oil companies, independents, service companies, internationally based oil companies and national oil companies. The board meets twice per year, once at the AAPG Annual Conference and once in the fall, usually in Houston. Teleconferences are held as needed.
The mission of the International Pavilion (IP) is connecting representatives of countries with oil and gas resources with professionals from oil and gas companies looking to explore and produce them. By showcasing E&P opportunities, disseminating information, and providing an environment for meaningful discussion and negotiation, the IP helps facilitate the process of identifying and evaluating international exploration opportunities.
