Grover E. Murray Memorial Distinguished Educator Award BACKGROUND
The Grover E. Murray Memorial Distinguished Educator Award (formerly Distinguished Educator Award) is given to recognize distinguished and outstand-ing contributions to geological education including, but not limited to, teaching and counseling of students at the university level. Funded by Dr. and Mrs. Grover Murray, this award can also be given for education of the public and management of educational programs.
