Membership Survey (ad hoc) Committee
The purpose of the Ad Hoc Survey Committee is to conduct member surveys which provide valuable feedback to the Executive Committee and leadership overall.
There were two electronic surveys conducted by the Committee this past fiscal year:
- On behalf of the Young Professionals (YPs) an electronic survey was conducted to investigate whether or not YPs were aware of the groups existence and did it have any perceived value in belonging.
Results: The survey concluded that while many YPs were aware of the group’s existence many did not really understand all the group has to offer. It was determined that more target marketing was necessary.
- An electronic survey was conducted to investigate the merit and value of being Certified and whether or not it should be a separate "Gold Standard Member Class."
Results: It was determined that Certified Members do value being certified and the majority think it should be the "Gold Standard" of membership. Most Non-Certified members would consider being certified given more information, but did not necessarily think it had to be the "Gold Standard" of membership.
