About the Event
The event includes a large conference and exhibition presenting the latest developments, achievements in geology and geophysics.
"Integrated Approach for Unlocking Hydrocarbon Resources" will offer field trips to Kirmaky Valley and Mud volcanoes.
"Integrated Approach for Unlocking Hydrocarbon Resources" is held jointly with the Azerbaijan Society of Petroleum Geologists (ASPG) and the Azerbaijan National Committee of Geophysics (ANCG) and in association with AAPG Europe, SEG Local Chapter, EAGE Local Chapter and Russian Association AIS.
Gala Dinner and Icebreaker
The Gala Dinner will be held in the Art Garden restaurant located in the Old City.
The ART GARDEN is the original restaurant of ethnic cuisine located in the centre of "Icheri Sheher" (Old City) in the "Kichik Karvansaray" of XII century. The internal court yard for 200 people is a favourite place of residents and the guests of the city. Under the arches of a tent live jazz music will be played.

Here you can try wide assortment of the dishes prepared under ancient recipes and traditionally served. Samovar tea, sweets and hookah supplement surprising atmosphere of old city. "Art Garden" is a place saturated with breath of time where you can enjoy both magnificent kitchen and spiritual food.
The internal court yard containing to 200 persons - a favourite place of Baku citizens and visitors of the city. In the evenings, under the tent arches you can listen to live jazz and national music sounds.
In the "Art Garden" workshops of arts and crafts of Azerbaijan are gathered; carpet weaving, copper ware, silk painting, woodcarving and guests can buy a gift or a souvenir.
