Oracle at Delphi
Visit the wonderful craggy home of the ancient oracle, with temples set against towering mountains. Once the ‘United Nations’ of Ancient Greece, this site has a fascinating history framed within temples and treasuries, theatres and sports arenas. Coffee stop in Arahova, a village famous for hand-woven carpets and lunch (on your own) at a waterfront restaurant/tavern at the picturesque Galaxidi, a tiny fishing village.
