After completing a B.Sc in Applied Geology and Environmental Biology at Curtin University in 2015, I returned to complete a B.Sc (Hons) in Applied Geology in 2016. My research is based in the Bight Basin focussing on the petroleum potential in Eyre Sub-basin, Western Australia.
In terms of work experience, I have completed a summer vacation program with Santos Ltd in the development geology team in the Browse Basin. Before that, I was an Intern at ffA GeoTeric assisting with client research.
At university I have been involved in a variety of clubs. Currently, I am the President of the AAPG Curtin Student Chapter. The chapter was only established in 2015, but now has just under 100 student members. I also participated in the 2016 AAPG IBA for Curtin University where we received an Honourable Mention. I am looking forward to establishing AAPG Young Professional chapters in Australia as I believe they are a great way to socialise and to assist with the continuation of skills development.
